lindsey ok!

i am so excited to start school. today i officially registered for college classes. now i graduated in 2005, went to college right away, and withdrew after only a semester. i wasn't ready for it, i was making bad decisions, and i just wasn't ready to do my best at school. but now i feel like i have nothing to hold me down, nothing to get in my way, and i'm going to try my hardest to be smart! yay!

also, we had to put my dog down yesterday morning. not howie. duke, my black lab that i've had since i was seven. the previous four days he hadn't been eating much, and the previous two days he had thrown up all over the downstairs in the night. of course i'm sad and i miss him so much, but i think it's better for him because he obviously was in so much pain. he was a hundred percent blind, almost deaf, and he's had diabetes for seven years. he was such a trooper.

this has just been an all around tough year. with the car accident, lucy's death, my grandfather being in the hospital for 3 weeks (still), and now the death of duke. not to mention other pointless drama, which has led me to stay away from it all for the most part. but i guess the only thing i can do is make the best of it. at least i've got good thing/person to show. i miss him.
